The Ontario Ministry of Labor released its Code of Practice to address workplace harassment. Employers can follow the practices put forward in the document to help meet their workplace harassment legal responsibilities under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
The Code is comprised of 4 parts:
- Part I: Workplace harassment policy
- Part II: Workplace harassment program
- Part III: Employer’s duties concerning workplace harassment
- Part IV: Providing information and instruction on a workplace harassment policy and program
